Getting him Back

Synopsis:

In this dry-humored tragicomedy twenty-something Emmi is desperately trying to win her boyfriend back, turning to somewhat unorthodox methods that throw her into hilariously absurd situations. The film presents us with quirky characters, an unusual love triangle and a surprising finale.

Our Review:

Emmi is desperate because Emmi is in love. She is blinded by love and is willing to forgo the short comings of Christopher who is meek, unable stand up to his interfering & dominant mother. So there is some pity Emmi has towards him but not at the cost of her self respect. Yet Emmi goes to great length to try and patch up with Christopher, but caught up in an awkward situation in a bathtub, she just realize that Christopher will never stand up for her. May be he will never love her the way she loves him…And viola, the climax is really a refreshing surprise. Emmi’s performance is outstanding from start to

end. Great performance overall!
