Our Review

'The Warden's List' by Karinthal T McCray, clearly takes up the themes of guilt and forgiveness. Both themes are stated in dialogue, which is the best way to express theme in screenwriting. And this theme is coupled with an interesting and refreshing plot with strong characters and unpredictable plot twists. The story is created by in a well-mapped small world (a prison), and all the different characters fit snugly into the plot. The stakes keep rising and the exposition of the story is revealed ever so gently yet consistently to leave the readers hooked at the end of every scene. An engaging one-sitting read.
