Synopsis
Excellentricity, a superhero with powers of electricity, fights to keep the civilians of Burg City safe, all the while being a happily closeted lesbian, it’s nobody’s business, thank you very much. Her arch nemesis, Sir Satfire, throws a wrench in her plans.

Director Biography - Phia Pedretti
Phia Pedretti is a passionate animator, director, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently a Senior working toward her BFA in the animation program at the School of Visual Arts. Her passion project, the animated TV series Love and Lightning (@lovelightningandspandex) is currently working to get off the ground with its debut short "Excellentricity!"
Director Statement
The short film "Excellentricity" is a sort of teaser trailer for the animated TV series working to get off the ground, "Love and Lightning." Through "Love and Lightning," Phia and her co-writer Hannah Ford hope to explore themes of activism, queerness, and love, while the short film "Excellentricity" is here to let people have a good time!
