Director Biography - Jennifer Nangle

Born and raised on Boston's North Shore, Jennifer jumped onto the stage at age 10 and never left. She earned her B.F.A. in Theatre Studies from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY. Her favorite shows she performed in while there were "Julius Caesar" (Portia) and "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" (Reba). During her summers home she helped create Danvers Youth Theatre and starred in productions of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" (Lucy) and "Once Upon a Mattress" (Princess Winifred) with all proceeds going to local charities such as H.A.W.K. and Hospice.

Once she graduated college, Jennifer was active in Buffalo, NY theatre groups performing in Shakespeare in Delaware Park's "MacBeth" and the Alleyway Theatre's "Escaping the Box" as Pandora.

After realizing that chisling out her car every morning from ice and snow was getting way too chilly, Jennifer left the ice scraper behind for sunny Los Angeles, California! Three weeks after arriving Jennifer got right down to studying the craft. She dedicated two years to studying the Meisner, Linklater, and Alexander techniques at the Laura Henry Acting Studio in Santa Monica. There she played Lucinda Matlock in Edgar Lee Master's "The Spoon River Anthology" and Belinda/Flavia in "Noises Off".

In 2008 Jennifer wanted to put the creativity into own hands and research, produce, cast, and starred in Lee Blessing's "Independence" to much success. In January 2009 she also produced and starred as Lenny Magrath in "Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley. Since then she has acted in many different film, web, and stage productions.

Staying creative she also starred and produced the muti-award winning webseries "GUIDES", the multi-award winning short film "Coat Room", and, adding writer to the list, the upcoming horror short "Demonic Attachment".

"Spirit Board" is her directorial debut.
