Synopsis:
It is a stage-liked and vintage style set based on the fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes" to tell that Jimmy, a 14 years old boy tries his best to poke the lie that the emperor is not wearing new clothes when everyone else tries to ignore the truth.
Our Review:
A brilliant take!!! An age old fable, beautifully visualized, improvised, characterized, sequenced and directed. There is nothing wrong to be the odd man out. Doesn’t the fear of being left out drives every one against one’s own consciousness? Jimmy’s conviction is so rare to see in many. A Special note of appreciation for the creative way of showcasing the title sequencing and closing credits. The stage, the décor, lighting, costume look appropriate for a vintage movie. Every actor who performed looks so apt as if they have just walked out of the fairy tale era.
