Synopsis:
A day in the beauty salon reveals some ugly truths when the story follows the lives of three salon-goers and how their lives were forever changed. A friendship is rekindled and it is discovered that one has been diagnosed with cancer. A woman is mortified to learn that the day before her wedding her husband-to-be has been unfaithful and a young aristocrat is educated on culture appropriation.
Our Review:
Tumble weave is a sweet, warm snippet on relationships which is narrated in simple yet sensitively. This script will definitely make an entertaining short film.
The writer has weaved so many characters so beautifully. The strong and warm personality of Afua, the constant bickering of Donovan and Lisa, the vanity of Patryce, the courage of Morgan, the hopeful Marlinda and the ignorance of Emily. All the characters are such a delightful variety.
